Sat Sri Akal Photographers began in Melbourne with something simple — a love for people, stories and the moments that seem ordinary while they’re happening, but become priceless with time.

What started with a camera slowly became an invitation into some of the most meaningful days of people’s lives. Weddings, family celebrations, quiet moments between generations, laughter before the ceremony, tears that nobody expected — we realised very quickly that photography was never just about creating beautiful images. It was about preserving a feeling.

Over time, SSA grew from photography into films, weddings, events and stories from families across Melbourne. But even as the work became bigger, the reason behind it stayed personal.

We know that celebrations end, flowers fade, outfits are packed away and everyone eventually goes home. What remains are the memories — the photographs you show your children, the voices you hear again in a film, and the faces of people you may one day wish you could sit beside for just another moment.

That is why we do what we do.
